Yang Zhang is an experienced executive and team coach (ICF certified). Since 2009, Yang has coached numerous leaders and teams in global organizations through personal and organizational changes. With a Ph.D. in organizational psychology, she helps leaders and teams increase self-awareness in their intention and impact, discover their purpose and values, and design actionable experiments to bring about learning and transformation. Yang brings a unique combination of creativity, humor, and evidence-based principles and methods. She is seen by her clients as a clear-headed and calming presence during difficult periods of change. Yang’s approach to supporting her clients is flexible. She frequently employs coaching, consulting, and/or scenario-based practical exercises that maximise tangible outcomes.
 
Yang was born and raised in China and lived and worked for 14 years in the U.S. After receiving her Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology in the U.S., she worked as a leadership development and talent management professional in the financial services industry and a lecturer of psychology before moving to Germany in 2013. Her work has since included leadership positions in the consulting industry and a highly responsible global leadership development role in the tech industry. Yang is seen as a trusted advisor to leaders and teams in a multicultural environment. She speaks fluent English and Mandarin Chinese and travels or delivers her work virtually across three continents: North America, Europe, and Asia.
